Alissa is thrilled to be teaching at Progressions Performing Arts! She recently moved back to Texas after spending the last couple years traveling with Dance and living in NYC. Her latest professional work includes being a Radio City Rockette in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Nashville, TN for the past 2 years. With Rockettes, she has had the privilege to travel all over the country promoting the show through TV, radio, photo shoots, pro baseball games, Sea World and much more! She was also seen on the previous season of Celebrity Apprentice with Mr. Donald Trump himself.
Alissa has also done 2 contracts with Royal Caribbean International, dancing and doing aerial work aboard the Majesty and the Explorer of the Seas. She has been seen in Hello, Dolly! at TUTS in Houston and will be appearing in Guys and Dolls there this fall as well. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in 2008 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance. She has taught dance to all age groups in jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, ballet, etc for 8 years to studios all over South Texas. She’s excited to be back in the Houston area and looking forward to a great year ahead! |
